Our Girls - Fenella Lace and Jazzy

FENELLA LACE

Fenella earned her AKC championship with ease.

She was awarded a 5 point major and Best of Opposite win her first weekend out at the tender age of 6 months. Beating 16 other havanese! Her second weekend out she won Best of Breed winning out over 18 other havanese. In her group she received the loudest applause even though she didn't get a ribbon. To see her is to love her. She took a short break while she blew her coat and came back to finish her championship at 9 months.

Fenella

Her name origin is Keltic it means "white shouldered." Fenella is an excellent example of what a havanese should look, move, act, and feel like. She has a wonderful top line with her rear end rising up higher than her shoulders. The raised rear end is what gives the havanese their flashy movement. She is a clown, dramatic entertainer, and a cuddly companion. She has learned how to please every individual in our family. She behaves for me. She greets my husband and knows how much he appreciates a fine retrieving dog. Demonstrating how much havanese love to play fetch and keep away. One of our kids loves to play chase and cuddle so thats what they do. Our other child loves kisses and Fenella saves all of her kisses for them. Havanese are a breed to please! Her hair is wavy with an extrememly silky feel. One of the best things about owning a havanese is petting their glorius fur. She represents the Havana Silk Dog in every aspect!

We are flattered by all of the compliments on our dog. We are very proud of her. She has brought so much joy to our family. We would love for everyone to be blessed with a havanese just like her. Fenella has a normal eye cerf, normal OFA patellas, and passed a complete vet examination. She is in excellent health and is a pleasure to know. We will be breeding her once in 2007. We haven't decided if it will be a Spring litter or a Fall Litter.

CHOCOLATE JAZZ

"JAZZY"

Our newest family member is Jazzy. She is a gorgeous chocolate Havanese. She is only 5 months old, and hopefully will be entering the show ring in Spring. She is very sweet and much calmer than Fenella. She is more easy going and relaxed. Her coat is extremely thick and silky. It is rare for a chocolate Havanese to have this much color in their coat. We hope to eventually breed her and have gorgeous pups.

Jazzy is very much a pleaser. She only wants to be in a happy atmosphere. She is very expressional with her body language, whether she is happy, tired, playful, or scared. My husband says she looks like an "ewok" from "Star Wars". What could be cuter! A furry, cuddly, tiny teddybear! Here are some pictures of our Chocolate Jazz "Jazzy".
